Half way through Lent, La Louvière wakes up with the sound of the drum roll and the Gilles' clogs clanking.
Coming from a 150 year old tradition, the Carnival of Laetare takes place in the "Cité des Loups" (Wolves city, nickname of La Louvière) and brings along three days of intense entertainment around a warm and friendly folklore.
